All our energy consulting work is done in-house by CEA certified
consultant- as required by some cities - to avoid miscommunication and errors.
We will communicate during the process if there is missing information, so you
will have no surprises during construction when your title report doesn't match
your site condition, which will cost delay and additional work. Please allow 2-3
business days to complete from the time of payment.
What we need for energy calculations:
- Scope of work for new construction, remodeling, addition,
windows/floor/roof/HVAC/WH alteration, replacement
- Floor plan(s) - existing and proposed (if applicable) - with all
existing, removed, altered and new exterior walls, windows and doors
dimensions
- Elevation views - if possible
- Orientation of building
- Average ceiling height
- Floor construction: raised with crawlspace or raised without crawlspace
(<18” above grade) or slab-on-grade
- Roof construction: attic or cathedral
- Heating and cooling equipment details:
- Please, describe type of existing: split A/C system, packaged
unit, heat pump, wall heater
- If projects needs an addition or replacement of heating/cooling
equipment describe the proposed: split A/C system, packaged
unit, heat pump, etc. / gas, propane, electric / # of units /
serving zones
- Hot water system details:
- If project needs an add or replacement of water heater describe
the proposed: tank, instantaneous, etc. / gas, propane, electric
/ # of units / serving zones
- Project name and address
- Project designer name, address, phone
